WelcomeYou've reached the web pages for Holmston Primary School, in Ayr, Scotland. We started the pages as part of the celebrations for the school's 175th Anniversary in 2000. There are 36 issues from 1999 to early 2003, and we won at least 10 web awards, so people found the pages interesting.
We're not making new pages at the moment, but we've left lots for you to read. There's our Life Outside Holmston feature, with a surprise baby Llama, our reporter in a suit of armour, our reporter on a Belgian warship, and more... There's our School News section, with our Head Teacher going to Atlanta, Georgia, and more... There's our History section, the Holmston Time Machine, with former pupils' memories of life with horses and carts, soldiers and bombing in World War II, and more... In our Former Pupils' section, over 140 people in Ayr and around the world, who went to this small school...
