 Wood-wide Web

Wood Wide Web...

Our reporters found the huge spider's web, right, complete with giant spider in the middle, hanging from some trees in the Galloway Forest Park.

Below, there was a huge wooden arm-chair, fit for a giant, in a clearing in the forest.

 Giant's Armchair

We think it's part of a sculpture programme called Forest Arts, which isn't completed yet.

You can see these sculptures, and some others (a huge wooden snake, a boat, and a thatched hut) on the Forestry tourist route, the Raiders' Road, between Mossdale and Clatteringshaws - they charge you £2 to drive along it.
