Merry Christmas from Holmston, and a Happy New Year

Also From Fifty-One Years Ago...

E-mailed by Susanne McMillan, formerly Nixon, from Ottawa, this is Infants 3 at Holmston in 1949, 40 pupils.

Again, this is in the days before the school uniform, the children are wearing individual clothes. New clothes are still rationed after World War II, and probably in fairly short supply, but they all look smart. Several girls have ribbons in their hair. Susanne's in the third row, second from the left.

Susanne's also sent a fairly full list of names below, recognise any Grannies or Grandpas? Suggestions for the other names to the Editors, please!

Primary 3, 1949
