To "Our Dynamic Earth" and Holyrood Palace.

The Edinburgh trip was a highlight of the 2000/175 year.

After months of planning and fund-raising and more planning, the whole school went to Edinburgh on June 1st 2000, to celebrate the school's 175th Anniversary.

They went in 6 buses all the way to Holyrood Palace, where the Queen lives when she comes to Edinburgh.

They explored the Royal Palace and the Abbey, right next door. Lots of people took time to try the graves for size!

 

They had a quick lunch in the Palace Courtyard.

 

Then on to the dome of "Our Dynamic Earth", the Millennium Exhibition just up the road...
