Robot arm spells Pokemon

Pokémon

Like lots of other schools, Holmston had to ban "Pokémon" in 2000. There was so much interest in the craze, and so much time taken up by dealing with various incidents like missing cards, that Mr Burnett decided they should not be allowed into the school.

I'm a Pokémon Trainer!

However, the craze continued outside school hours...

At the "Big Idea" in Irvine, a Mitsubishi robot arm was programmed, as above, by a Holmston P3 visitor, to pick up letters spelling "Pokemon".

Below, some of the guys gathered on our reporter's carpet.
