Back from the summer holidays, the new P1s make some cat masks, a Teacher from Tasmania comes to visit,
and there's Gladiator Jousting in our "Life Outside Holmston" section.
Issue 29, June 2001,
School holidays start again, but before that P7 got to the Dolphin House and have
all kinds of adventures, then go back to meet a celebrity.
There's the School Sports Day,
the PTA Summer Fayre,
and Aldi come back to build a supermarket.

The Holmston Ball, 5 more Former Pupils get in touch, another Web Award.
Issue 25, December 2000, our Christmas issue. The Christmas Fayre, the Christmas Plays, the Raffle, two more Web Awards.

Issue 23, October 2000. Surprise baby Llama at Kirkcudbright, plus
Parents' Nights, PTA Sponsored Bounce, and 2000/175 Parents' Race Night.
Issue 22, September 2000 Update. Welcome back, news of pupils' discos, parents' Race Night;
FP features on 2 former teachers, Miss Sumner,
Mr Tyson; PTA buy the school lots of equipment.
Issue 18, 12 - 26 May 2000.
Ayr Primaries' Swimming Gala,
the coming Summer Fayre and trip to Dynamic Earth, and another Web Award. And our FPs write
about games they used to play.
Issue 17, 28 April - 12 May 2000.
A report on that P7 trip to Culzean,
Fred MacAulay and other BBC stars help our fund-raising,
there's a trip to the Big Idea,
and there are swans on the Swan Pond.
Issue 16, 14 - 28 April 2000.
Easter holidays, presentation of commemorative paperweights at the Easter Service,
P7 visit Culzean Country Park, with not 1 but 2 pages of pictures.
In our History section, FP Jimmy Fairlie remembers the soldiers, and the fish.
Issue 15,
31 March - 14 April 2000.
P3 go to the Glasgow Art
Galleries and Transport Museum. Craig Brown, the Scotland
Football Team manager, comes for a visit. P1 meet Penguin Pete, children's friend and ace crime-fighter!
Issue 14, 17-31 March 2000.
We get over 1000 visits to the Web site, there's news on
Joel in Uganda,
P3 do some painting,
Susanne in Canada sends us
pictures of snow,
and there's local news of the historic by-election held in the school.
Issue 13, 3-17 March 2000. P7 take the digital camera on a"Walk Round Auld Ayr",
P3 visit the Supermarket.
Jean Harrison, formerly Hamilton, sent us her class photo from 1915,
and there's a hint of romance about her teacher, Miss Ramsay.
David McRobbie, an FP in Australia, has a grandson at Primary School there, they've got an extensive website.
Issue 12, 18 February-3 March 2000. It snows, and a bit of the roof blows away. Well, just a little bit. There's a report on the
Burns Supper, and the full words to "Auld Lang Syne" as sung by P7 and their guests. Sing along.
