 Orienteering Map

Getting Lost

I woke up on Thursday and went for a shower, thinking, Oh well, going home today. I was deep in thought about eventually going home to my own bed!

BANG! BANG! BANG! "Hurry up, you've been in there for ages", shouted my friend A.

"I'm just coming, keep your hair on", I shouted back. Showers were always like this at Dolphin House, sometimes I didn't even have time to get washed. So I hurried up, got dressed and went down to breakfast with M.

We met S. on the way down, we said that we'd partner with her for the orienteering and we did. We set off after breakfast with our map.

 Orienteering Sheet

The first few were easy to find, but as we went on it got harder. We got as far as number 6 well 7 'cause J. (he) told us where it was but after that we were totally lost.

I think people wondered what on earth we were doing, because we ended up running around the Castle looking for number 8, we were lost, worried and it was pretty scary, because we didn't have a clue where to go. At the finish up Mrs Kennedy and Tracey came and pointed us in the right direction.

In the end we got back to Dolphin House, it took us 36 minutes to complete the course. After all that running about getting lost, we sat down and had lunch. Yum!
