October 2002 Update

New Picnic Benches

P7 pupils use the new picnic benches in the Quad Garden, for the first time.

The new benches are made from recycled polythene and are strong enough for several pupils to sit together. One of the earlier wooden bench seats can be seen in the background.

The school intend to timetable the benches for different classes using the library around lunchtime, so that all pupils can have the chance of eating outside, weather permitting.

The benches were another donation bought with funds raised by the PTA last year.
