December 2002 Update

Mr Burnett in America

Mr Burnett went to Atlanta, Georgia USA, during the October week holidays, to represent the Association of Head Teachers in Scotland at a "Character Education Partnership Conference".

He travelled there with Mrs Burnett, and after a great flight with American Airlines (upgraded to business class!) he attended the Conference in full Highland dress.

There was also a visit to a local elementary school.

The American President, George Bush, was in town and his motorcade drove past the hotel where Mr and Mrs Burnett were staying. See on for photos, and count the motorcyclists...
