Galloway Sailing Centre

On Wednesday 16th May at Dolphin House we had to get up at 6 o'clock. That day we went to the Galloway Sailing Centre to do windsurfing, sailing and kayaking. We got a choice of Frosties, Rice Krispies or Weetabix for breakfast and after breakfast we left in the mini buses. We had to pull over and me and A. (boys) were sick.

We Had To Go Into A Sort Of Hut

When we got there I was sick again. Then we had to go in a sort of hut to get the wetsuits and we went and got changed. Then you got a choice of windsurfing, sailing or kayaking and I chose windsurfing.

First we were split up into two groups and then we went for a paddle on the surfboard with no sail. Then me and M. had not fell in so we got on the same board and had to try and wobble each other off. No one came off so the instructor came over and tipped the board over.

After that we got something to eat and then we had to learn some things about the sail.

And Then We Went On Actually To The Windsurfing

And then we went on to actually to the windsurfing and me and M. were in pairs and we had turns each and it was great but soon time was up and we had to go and get changed and went home in the minibuses.
