All the President's Men...

While Mr Burnett was in Atlanta, the American President, George W. Bush, came to town.

The President drove through the city. Lots of policemen on motorcycles went first, in front.

Then the President's huge black car came out behind them, with some white police cars. Mr Burnett took these photos, looking down from the hotel where he was staying.

Along the street, where the President's car was going, there was a small demonstration of people against a war with Iraq.

Other policemen kept the demonstrators well back from the President.

It's to be hoped there's no war with Iraq in the coming year.
