T Rex At Glasgow University

Walking with Dinosaurs

At the February 2001 mid-term holiday, the BBC came to town (well, to Glasgow University actually) with an Dinosaur exhibition based on their "Walking With Dinosaurs" TV series. There's been a giant Tyrannosaurus Rex at the top of University Avenue all year.


Racing the Dinosaur

The exhibition had lots of entertainment, including a "Race The Dinosaur" game which had crowds of children throughout the day.

Our picture, right, shows a girl taking off to run down a track the full length of the building, pursued, after a short "start", by flashing dinosaur footprints and sound effects. Terrifying...
