Some of the names came from people who wrote in to ask about the FP Reunion, so we don't have many details about them except "Lives in Ayr" (or Prestwick or Australia, etc)... There's a list of people who didn't give dates when they were at the school, here.

1948-49, Ian Johnston. Lives in Prestwick.

1948-54, Margaret Baillie (now Cramb). Lives in Ayr.

1948-55, Norma Barclay (now Muir). Lives in Ayr.

1948-55, Helen Reid (now Cowan). Lives in Irvine.

1948-55, Norman L. Faulds. Lives in Edinburgh, retired Church of Scotland Minister. Susanne Nixon (below) saw Norman on TV in Canada, while he was at an Open Golf championship in Scotland. She wrote to him c/o Muirfield Golf Course and the Post Office found him!

1948-55, Maureen Forsyth (now McIlwraith). Lives in Ayr. Remembers the design of the school uniform, and 3 days' holiday for the Coronation.

1948-55, Alexander (Sandy) D. Murdoch. Lives in Ayr, and is organising the FP Reunion.

1948-55, Margaret Mackie (now McBride). Lives in Prestwick.

1949-55, Andrew Reid. Lives in Ayr. Sheila Anderson (below) suggests he may be 1951-57 - or was this another Andrew?

1950-52, George Courtney, after being at Wallacetown and Coylton. Lives in Ayr.

1950-57, Joyce Edgar (now Wilcox). Her mother was Mrs Iris Edgar, who taught at the school. Joyce is an industrial chemist and lives in Paisley.

1950-54, Moira Finlayson (now Clark). Lives near Kirriemuir. Has a Farmhouse B&B.

1950-55, Harry Lorimer. Lives in Ayr.

1950-57, Lilian Mackie (now McClymont). Lives in Ayr.

1951-54, Carol Burnett (now Murdoch). Lives in Ayr.

1951-57, Moira Anderson (now Phippen). Sheila's (next) twin sister! Lives in Toronto, Canada, formerly a nurse, now a nursing home administrator.

1951-57, Elizabeth Barclay (now Donnachie). Lives in Ayr, came to the FP Reunion, didn't leave a class date (the Visitors' Book didn't ask). Sheila Anderson, above, remembers her from her class.

1951-58, Alan Burnett. Lives in Surrey. A Director of British Airways and of Air Mauritius. In 1992, Alan was awarded an OBE for "services to UK Civil Aviation".

1951-57, Kathleen Highet (now Stewart). Lives in Ayr.

1954-61, Raymond Briggs, brother of Edward (not yet contacted) and Donnie Briggs (1956-63). Raymond is a surgeon, and lives near Stirling.

1954-62, David McGhee. Now a teacher, lives in Falkirk.

1955-1959, Jack Heathcote. Lives in Ayr.

1956-63, Donald "Donnie" Briggs. Now a Process Engineer, lives in Crosshouse, works in Ayr. Donnie's brothers are both doctors - Edward, a G.P. in Falkirk; and Raymond, a consultant surgeon in Stirling.

1956-63, Ann Cameron (now Knight). Emigrated to Toronto with her family in 1966, daughter of Betty Hood (now Cameron), above. Ann and her husband run their own Internet company in Oshawa, Ontario - take a look at oshawa.auracom.com

1961-63, Ian Winslow. Emigrated to Ontario in 1979, discovered he lives near Ann Cameron (above).

1958-65, Lynda Main (now Smith). Lives in Ayr. Lynda is the daughter of Robert Main, who went to Holmston, 1930-36. Robert died recently, in April this year.
